Six Sigma Introduction:
Six Sigma is a methodology aiming to improve performance based on statistical tools & factual approaches. It¡¯s expected to reach significant improvement, eliminate variance through the logical process of define, measure, analysis, improvement.
Six Sigma is also a target of 3.4 Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) and is recognized as a definition of world-class performance.

Kaifa objectives to adopt Six Sigma:

To train and enhance staff problem solving skills based on factual approach and statistical analysis tools.
To support all departments to continue to reduce cost, improve quality, working process and efficiency.

Six Sigma in Kaifa:

  Implementationl
       Six Sigma DMAIC:

1. Introduced Six Sigma DMAIC and launched the 1st wave Black Belt training in January of 2002. And completed the 1st wave Black Belt projects in September of the same year.

2. Completed the certification of the 1st wave Black Belt in January of 2004.
¡¡
3. Started the 2nd wave Black Belt training in October 2003 and completed the certification in September of 2004.
¡¡
4. Started the 3rd wave Black Belt training in July of 2005.
       Six Sigma DFSS:
¡¡
1. Introduced Six Sigma DMAIC and launched the 1st wave Black Belt training in January of 200
¡¡
2. And completed the 1st wave Black Belt projects in September of the same year.
  Achievement:
       1. Total completed 89 Black Belt projects and 60 Green Belt projects from January of 2002 to June of 2005.
       2. The cumulative benefit is over £¤60,000,000RMB(including of soft benefit) during 3 years.
